Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of RevivaPix, provided by {{LEGAL ENTITY}}. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. The service and who provides it
RevivaPix is provided by {{LEGAL ENTITY}}, {{LEGAL FORM}}, registered office {{REGISTERED OFFICE}} (Company number {{COMPANY NUMBER}}). RevivaPix is a browser-based photo restoration tool. You open a JPEG, PNG or WebP photo on your device. The photo is restored in your browser, using repairs you control: dust and scratch removal, fade and contrast recovery, grain reduction, sharpening and tone options. You then download the result to your device. Photos are limited to 16 megapixels and 40 MB each. Features marked as coming soon on our Features and Pricing pages are not part of the service and are not promised.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@revivapix.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
- One person per account unless your plan says otherwise.
3. Plans, credits and payment
- 1 credit = 1 restored photo. Each plan is a one-time payment that gives you access for a fixed period and a set number of credits, as shown on the pricing page. Previews and the before and after slider do not use credits. A credit is used when you restore and download a full-size photo.
- No automatic renewal. Nothing is renewed and there is nothing to cancel. We never charge you again unless you choose to buy another plan.
- If you buy more than one plan, credits add up and your access period is extended. Unused credits expire when your access period ends. If you use all your credits before then, you can buy another plan or contact us for a custom plan. We do not charge overage fees.
- If a restoration fails on our side, the credit is returned to your account.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax are added where required.
- We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a plan you have already paid for.
4. Refunds
Each RevivaPix plan is a one-time payment for a fixed access period. Nothing is renewed automatically. You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have used less than 20% of your credits, or if you were charged in error or the service did not work as described. This is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, which this policy never reduces.
Details are in our Refund Policy.
5. Your photos and content
- Your rights. You keep all rights in your photos and of the restored files you download.
- Licence. Because your photos are processed on your device, you give us no licence to them. For the information you send us, such as account details and messages, you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use it only to provide, secure and support the service, and we never use it to train AI models.
- Processing on your device. Your photo is opened and restored in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers. We do not receive, store or have access to your photos or the restored results.
- What we store. For each restoration we store the pixel size of the photo, the settings you chose, a status and the date, so we can count your credits. See the Privacy Policy.
- No AI training. We never use your content to train AI models.
- Your promises. You confirm you own, or have permission to use and restore, every photo you open, including the rights of the people shown in it, and that using it does not break the law or anyone's rights.
- Keep your originals. We do not keep copies of your files. Always keep your original scans and the files you download.
6. Automated restoration and its limits
Restoration is performed by automatic image processing. It can improve a photo, but it can also change how it looks, soften fine detail, remove marks that were part of the original picture or leave marks behind. Results depend on the quality of your scan. The service does not repair large tears, folds, stains or missing areas and does not add color. Compare every result with your original before you print, publish or share it. Restored images are not suitable as evidence, as proof of identity or as a faithful record where exact accuracy matters, and we make no promise that they are.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or open content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing or that violates someone's privacy;
- use the service for adult, pornographic or sexually explicit content of any kind, or for any content that sexualises or endangers minors;
- use the service to create deepfakes or other material that imitates a real person without their consent, or to impersonate anyone;
- use the service to forge, falsify or alter documents, identity papers or evidence, or for fraud, scams or any deceptive practice;
- use photos you have no right to use, for example photos taken from someone else's private collection without permission;
- access accounts or data that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the service without permission;
- disrupt, overload or interfere with the service or its security;
- reverse engineer, decompile or extract source code, except where law allows;
- circumvent usage limits, share an account to avoid paying, or resell the service without our written consent;
- use the service or its output to build a competing product or to train a competing AI model.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
We own the service, including its software, design, branding and documentation. These terms give you no rights in our trademarks or logos. Photographs on this website are provided by Pexels contributors under the Pexels License. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation or payment.
9. Copyright and takedown requests
We do not host your photos, so we cannot remove them. If you believe someone is using the service to infringe your rights, email support@revivapix.com with the details and your contact information. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
10. Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Cloudflare for hosting and Stripe for payments. We are not responsible for their services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
11. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. The service runs in your browser, so performance depends on your device, and very large photos may fail on devices with little memory. We may update, suspend or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect paid plans.
12. Suspension and termination
- You may close your account at any time from the Account page.
- We may suspend or terminate access, with notice where reasonable, if you breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or where the law requires.
- On termination your right to use the service ends and your account data is deleted according to our retention periods. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) continue.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and the quality of any restored result. Nothing in these terms affects your mandatory consumer rights.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
15. Indemnity
Where the law allows, you will cover us against claims, losses and costs arising from your content or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to consumers where the law forbids it.
16. General
- Force majeure: neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a business transfer.
- Severability: if a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver: not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
- Entire agreement: these terms, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Security page and Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
- Notices: we may notify you by email, in the product or by posting on this site.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes we will give notice before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you can stop using the service and close your account. Changes never reduce the credits or access period of a plan you have already paid for.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by {{GOVERNING LAW}}. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence and any right to bring proceedings in their local courts. Please contact us first at support@revivapix.com so we can try to resolve a dispute informally.
